Hi everybody! It`s another beautiful (but hot!) summery day in Tokyo!! It`s a perfect day to go for a swim…so…here are some useful and common expessions in English with “go.”
① go for a swim☆ (泳ぐ、泳ぐに行く、水泳する)
- Let`s go for a swim!
- I wanna go for a swim.
- I went for a swim at the neighborhood pool this morning.
② go for a walk☆ (お散歩する)
- It`s cool this evening. Wanna go for a walk?
- I don`t go for walks in summer.
③ go for a drive☆ (ドライブする)
- I prefer going for a drive.
- I`ve never gone for a drive in Tokyo.
だから “walk” の複数形 (“I don`t go for walks in summer”) もあります。 We`re waiting to Enjoy English with you here at GENIE! See you (^。^)/

Hi everybody!
Here is a simple but useful word in English…
leftovers
“Leftovers” means 「残り物」。 Here are some example sentences…
I had leftovers for dinner last night.
Do you like leftovers?
I ordered a pizza last night and had leftover pizza for breakfast this morning. No “s”!! For example, “leftover pizza.” Or “leftover locomoco” or “leftover curry.”
Well, it`s Monday and it will be dinner time soon! I hope you enjoy your dinner every night this week, even if it`s only leftovers!
I also hope to Enjoy English with you here at GENIE in the cool Aloha room soon! (→_→)
Mahalo for reading!!

That hat looks good on you.
That hat suits you.
You look good in hats.
A go(es) with B” を使います。 Here are some examples…
This goes with tea.
These crackers go with beer.☆ (このクラッカーがビールと合うよ。)
Everything goes with beer.
Cheese and dried fruit go with wine.
”A goes with B” と “B goes with A” でどっちにしても大丈夫です。
That`s all for this week! I hope you enjoyed this blog and I hope to Enjoy English with you soon at Catch you later!
