今週、みんながよく間違えたのは、「どうやっていくの？」だった。
みんなは直訳を使って、動詞を”go there”にした。
正しい英語は “get there”.


例文を見てね。


どうやって京都に行ったの？
How did you get to Kyoto?


どうやって行くつもり？
How are you gonna get there?
How do you plan to get there?


普段どうやって仕事に通うっている？
How do you usually get to work?


どうやって行けばいいだろう？
How should we get there?



It’s a simple mistake but easy to make. I hope this helps. Everybody keep up the good job of improving your english!

It’s getting colder!!
I really hate cold weathers… It was so hard for me to get out of bed this morning.
Only times I like winter is:
1. At home, nice and warm
2. Doing something fun like skiing, ice-skating or viewing illuminations.
3. Hot springs!
だんだん寒くなって来ていますね!!
私は寒い天気が大嫌い… 今朝はベッドから出るのが大変でした。
私が冬を好きな時は：
１．暖かく素敵な家の中
２．スキー、スケート、イルミネーションを見たりと、楽しい事をしている時
３．温泉！

By the way, a big thank you to everyone that came to GENIE’s Halloween and 3rd Anniversary Party on the 30th!
I was really surprised and happy that everyone made a big effort with costumes and there were many different looks (^^)
It was fun mingling with people other than normal classes too!
そういえば、30日にGENIEのハロウィーンと３周年記念パーティーに来てくれて本当にありがとうございます！
みんなの努力によって沢山違った格好の仮装が見れて驚きの反面とても嬉しかったです(^^)
授業以外にも沢山の人と歓談出来て楽しかったです！

*Today’s Lesson*
最近寒い冬らしい天気が増えてきたので夏覚えた”sunny”や”humid”という単語に加え、冬必要とする単語を加えていきましょう！
“cold” = 「寒い」
“freezing” = 「凍るように寒い」
“goose pimples / goosebumps” = 「鳥肌」
“sleet” = 「みぞれ」
“ice” = 「氷」
“icicle” = 「つらら」
“hail” = 「あられ」
“windy” = 「風がある、風が強い」
“snow” = 「雪」
“snowflake” = 「雪片・雪の結晶」
“blizzard” = 「暴風雪」
“igloo” = 「イグルー」（エスキモーの家と言った方がしっくりくるかも？それに加え、エスキモーでは無く、今はイヌイット族が正しいですね。）
“snow hut” = 「かまくら」　（日本のイグルーですね。そのまま”kamakura”でもOKです。）
