Hi everybody!
Here are two words which are confusing for many students:
cloudy & crowded
In Japanese they are verbs, but in English they are both adjectives so if you use these words in a sentence you also need a “be” verb. 日本語だったら動詞の「曇る」 & 「混む」 を使うけど英語の場合は両方とも形容詞ですからbe動詞も必要があります。 Here are some example sentences:
It was a little cloudy in Phuket. (プーケットでちょっと曇ってた。) Check out the cool picture (→_→) I took this with my cell phone last week.
Shinjuku is always crowded. (新宿はいつも混んでいます。)
